Sad to say goodbye to another of the greats. David Bowie has been one of my favorite artists since I was very young. Such a talented man. Not only musical (he played almost every instrument), he was a fun actor to watch also. The Goblin King in Labyrinth, Pontius Pilate in The Last Temptation of Christ or an alien in The Man Who Fell to Earth, and other roles that let us see a different side of him. He also liked to draw, was a writer, painter, and sculptor. There are so many good songs to remember him by, this is one of my very favorites and it seems appropriate.

I’m having a moment. As I often do when there is mention of Led Zeppelin. I’m not your normal (seldom one of my adjectives) Led Zeppelin fan. I’ve been a completely obsessed maniac fan since I was 10 years old. Their multi layered, bluesy-rock, heavy with guitar, music, and Robert Plant’s powerful drop-your-panties voice, hooked me hard.
